Tempo is a prototype, not a product. It comes with absolutely no warranty. Though we cannot promess to treat any request at any speed, we will do our best to provide helpful support. Send us mail at tempo@irisa.fr.

Formatted Report

Besides errors and inconsistencies in the documentation, we make the following difference between a bug and a wish.

If you find an error in the documentation, or some inconsistency with the behavior of Tempo, please let us know: send us a mail at tempo@irisa.fr.

In order to report a bug or a wish, please fill out one of the two following forms and send it to tempo@irisa.fr. Please make your code as short as possible (most of the time a few lines are enough). We will not even look at files of indecent size.

Bug Report

The fields of the following bug-report form are:

short description:
One or two lines only
reported by:
Your full name and email address
date:
Today
in version (platform):
The version you use (as given by the Tempo banner when you run it) and the platform (Linux, SunOS-5, SunOS-4)
Priority:
A priority according to your need (but our priority might differ...)
long description:
As much information as you have
Work around:
If it exists, usually a simple source transformation
list of required files:
List of the the files included below
source files:
Usually the ".c" files, unless you start form a latter phase
config file:
Your ".config.sml" file
context file:
Your ".actx.c" file if it exists
specialization values:
Your ".sctx.c" file

Whatever is required to run Tempo

A log of the session: sequence of tempo commands (an, etc.) and their output

Anything that might help
